Our piano teacher Margaret, in Potrero Hill, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Piano Performance degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Margaret has been teaching piano lessons since 2001. She is a first prize and gold medal winner of numerous international competitions in the United States and Europe. She has performed extensively at various international festivals and concerts around the world. Her piano talents were showcased in "Silentium Dei", a film that was invited to the Cannes Festival in France. As a result of her captivating performances and top prizes, she has been invited to many television and radio programs. She is currently Director of Kensington Orchestra in California, as well as a performer in opera productions on harpsichord. Her Master of Arts in Chamber Music and more than fifteen years of experience performing in group settings gave her the opportunity to be a judge at the Juliusz Zarebski International Music Competition. Margaret is also an accompanist for students and instrumentalists for exams, concerts, and performances, as well as an experienced vocal coach. As a piano teacher, her guidance is flexible and full of creative ideas. She is experienced in teaching composition, piano in group settings, and preparation for exams and competitions. Margaret understands that learning piano requires focus and motivation, so she makes her lessons balanced between learning and enjoying time with music.
