Our piano teacher Dorian, in Nazareth, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Dorian has been teaching piano lessons since 1997. In his career, this piano teacher has been hired by touring companies, cruise ships, and Broadway performances. He can often be found in a music pit or on stage playing for production shows. Dorian is sought after for his ability to sight read easily, quickly problem solve, and maintain composure under pressure. His colleagues in productions have always been pleased with not only his music abilities, but also his ability to work collaboratively with vocalists or guest artists. Dorian has played in bands with Gary Van Skyok (bass player for John Lennon), Mick Jagger, and Paul Simon, to name a few. He has also music directed and played piano for Adrian Zmed’s show on Princess Cruise Lines and orchestrated Michael Blevin’s musical “Count to Ten,” which appeared at the New York Music Festival in 2009. Dorian has a laid back style of teaching piano, and he keeps students motivated with his clear and understandable instruction.
